Colter Fike

President

 

Fike Industrial Construction was founded over 20 years ago out of the great state of Alaska. The owner of our company, Colter Fike started contracting in heavy industrial construction, which includes heavy highway construction and tilt up precast buildings. Colter has grown Fike Industrial into a full service hospitality commercial contractor.

Colter, has not only expanded the integrity and professionalism of Fike Industrial Construction, but he has been creating long lasting relationships in the hospitality industry servicing hotel renovations, maintenance and more for over 15 years.

Jason Fritz

Chief Operating Officer

 

A proven leader with responsibility of all on-site phases of the entire ground up construction and development process from the initial mobilization to the final client handoff. He is responsible for the training, development and safety of all site personnel and is responsible to ensure the entire construction process is safe and is successful. He ensures all is in accordance and in compliance with budgets, contracts, plans, schedules, and government requirements, delivering the highest quality product within schedule and within budget maintaining a commitment to safety and overall client satisfaction. Jason has over 25 years’ experience nationwide in the construction industry. Specific retail experience includes Sportsman’s Warehouse, Maverik Fuel Centers, Starbucks, Popeyes Chicken, Shopko, Bartell Drugs, Hilton Garden Inn, CVS, Multiple Auto Dealerships and Sherwin Williams Paint Stores.

 

Daniel Sterns

New Business Development

 

Daniel Sterns brings more than 30 years of retail and hospitality development experience to Fike Industrial Construction. Prior to joining Fike Industrial Construction Daniel was the Executive Vice President of Facilities and Development for Extended Stay America – the largest owner-operator of extended-stay hotels in North America. Sterns
oversaw the daily real estate, construction, renovation and facility needs of 684 hotels/75,000 guest rooms. Under Sterns term, Extended Stay purchased land and constructed over 400 hundred “ground up” hotels as well as acquiring and rebranding competitors. Under his direction, Extended Stay America renovated an astonishing 220 properties
between December 2011 and August 2013.
Previously Daniel worked with Ernst Home Centers, Inc. starting as a Project Manager, Senior Construction
Manager before being promoted to Director of Development. In his most senior role, primary responsibilities included
overseeing the build-out of new stores and the renovation of existing stores. Ernst was a home improvement retail store based in Seattle, Washington, operating 95 stores in 12 western states.
Today, Daniel is responsible for expanding and managing Fike Construction’s client base, operational oversight and bid and contract negotiations.

 

Dean Beaulieu

Senior Estimator

 

Dean joined Fike Industrial Construction in 2013 as a Senior Project Manager. Today Dean oversees the facilities estimating department and manages the Extended Stay America account. Dean has over 30 years of experience spanning multiple construction disciplines. Prior to being employed by Fike industrial Construction worked as a Project Manager for the commercial branch of Byler Contracting working with government, school districts, and private companies.

Brett Fike

Senior Project Manager

 

Brett has over 30 years in the construction industry, with 20 years as Superintendent or Project Manager taking on difficult projects and performing well to continue the high standard of Fike Industrial Construction, as well as local & national code compliance. Brett has managed many complete hotel renovations, Day-to-Day Operations for General Contract Service work. Many large exterior renovations on commercial properties, Several School complete exterior systems rehabilitations, Multiple Aquarium tank & pool re-coatings, Large fencing projects to include automated gate systems and hundreds of interior remodels (residential & commercial). Ground up experience includes; New Metal Building facilities, Highway bridges & tunnels under roadways, New State parks buildings & decorative landscape features, Multiple City power plant & street light foundations, New residential homes, Commercial building large additions and International Airport runway expansions.

 

Johnnie Jenkins

Senior Project Manager

 

Johnnie Jenkins has 20 years of extensive experience controlling time, cost, and quality elements of construction projects. He has expert capabilities and a verifiable track record of project delivery in both corporate and contractor environments. Efforts range from maintenance and renovation of commercial and residential construction initiatives to larger maintenance/capital project engagements as well as complex institutional facility and infrastructure undertakings.A proven leader and motivator who is well versed in overseeing staff and operations, delivering excellent results on time and within budget. Skilled negotiator, capable of resolving complications and maintaining long-term customer relationships. Johnnie is also a deadline-driven problem-solver effective individually and as a collaborative team member. Noted for the ability to bring stakeholders together; leveraging individual talents and maximizing the value each brings to the project resulting in a stronger team and better final product.

Justin Fike

Project manager Alaska

Duties include oversight of Fike industrial Construction’s fabrication, earthworks and development
Alaska, hotel and retail maintenance and renovations Alaska, ground up construction Alaska.
Extensive experience in project management, labor management, estimating.
Project experience in hospitals, DOT, DOD, Corp of Engineers, large maintenance Facilities, retail stores,
commercial/industrial processing facilities, mining, hotels, welding and fabrication, underground
utilities, controlled atmosphere buildings, power plants, earth works and many more.

 

 

Matthew Ebeling

Washington Project Manager

 

Matt has over 10 years’ experience in construction from framing to flooring to roofing. Matt has been working with Fike Industrial Construction going on 10 years and started as a labor all the way to project manager. Matt is certified in Onity training and great figuring out issues with low voltage. Matt has developed maintenance engineering training programs and taught them throughout the country for hotels.

Steve Guerrero

Michigan & Ohio Project Manager

 

With over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, Steve is a result driven Project Manager. He leads and oversees all employees in the Michigan and Ohio territories keeping safety, teamwork, professionalism, organization and time management a top priority. He is committed to high quality craftsmanship and delivering finished projects in a timely manner. Steve excels in executing all pre-construction, construction, quality control and post construction responsibilities. Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills are a crucial part of the role he is responsible for as a member
of the Fike Industrial Construction team.

 

Shawn Norton

Oregon Project Manager

 

Shawn has over 20 years of experience of project management in multiple fields to include residential and commercial remodels, installation of doors and windows, as well as high end maintenance of many businesses to include banks, hospitals, Alaska Legislative bldg.,
and multiple hotel properties.
This experience has given him a wide scope of knowledge on various projects. He has worked side by side with staff to be sure that projects are completed in a safe, timely, and professional manner. He has established long-term customer relations by being fair in his proposals and having an open line of communication with his clients and their concerns.
Shawn is well versed in many phases of production and can trouble-shoot problems or concerns that may occur, very effectively.
